We are a community of people seeking an extraordinary relationship with Jesus. Perfect people are welcome but they probably wouldn’t be comfortable because we know that we have hurts, hang-ups and habits. We know that on our best days we are not good enough for His grace, and we are never good enough when we think we are the best. But we know that life in Jesus makes all of life better.
We are in the process of learning to live out faith in Jesus. To follow him fully, to break free from our past, and to walk in victory together.
We want to be a church where unchurched people want to go. So, if church is a place you have felt unwelcomed or uncomfortable in the past, this community of faith will be a different experience.
If you have never been to YCC, and you're considering coming, here's what you should expect...

Nice people. We LOVE to see new faces. But, sometimes our greeters may not recognize the first-time visitors. So feel free to say, "This is my first time" and they will guide you in!

A casual atmosphere. We care about YOU not what you're wearing, so feel free to come in jeans or whatever is comfortable to you. Grab a hot cup of free coffee at our HeBrews station and sit wherever you would like! We will not single you out publicly or ask you to say anything, and we do not expect guest to contribute financially.

A fun safe environment for kids. We have a wonderful nursery, that is available at 9:45am, for kids from the ages of infants to 2 years old; our Preschool kids ages from 3 years old to 5 years old, sing songs and and are taught each Sunday a Bible story. Our KidMin class is for kids ages 6 years old through the 5th grade and meets at 10:30am, in our fellowship hall. All of our kid's ministries are taught by volunteers who have passed background checks and have a heart for kids and families.

Practical teaching that connects the words of the Bible to everyday life and music that is lively, including guitars and drums. Please feel free to raise your hands in praise while singing. We want an atmosphere of freedom in our services.
Everyone belongs here at YCC – every color, every shape, every personality, and people with every kind of story imaginable. We trust the Bible completely even when we don't fully understand it. We value Kingdom growth and invest in our community, in our nation and throughout the world.
And we do everything for the name and fame of Jesus Christ!
