Don and his wife, Linda have one son, Samuel who is serving in the United States Military. Linda works alongside Don in the church office as the Administrator.
Don has such a passion to tell everyone about God's love and grace. He loves to be a part of the community of Yuma, Colorado. At this time he is on the Board of Directors of A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center and the Rural Communities Resource Center, and is the President of the Yuma Ministerial Association.
He tells stories at various storytelling events and he also plays the Native American flute. Be sure to email or call Don if you would be interested in using his talents at your next event. 
Don & Linda both love the outdoors and enjoy camping in the Rocky Mountains.

Worship Leader, Tara Lubbers

Tara and her husband, Lucas, have been serving at YCC for several years. Tara has led worship at several churches and we are very happy that she is now leading our Worship Teams. 
Both, Tara and Lucas, also work in the High School here in Yuma and are well loved by their students.
Also, they have a beautiful daughter, Abigail.


Elder, Dennis Koolstra

Dennis and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, Isaiah, Micah and Samuel. They own and operate a large dairy farm here in Yuma County. Through the dairy, they minister to all of their employees, even to the point of holding a church service on the dairy for several years. 
They both have a heart for the children of this church and are Co-Leaders of our KidMin.
We are blessed to have these two loving people here at YCC.

Brian Chapman

Brian is married to Keri and they have 3 beautiful girls, Becca, Katlyn and Anna. He owns his own construction business, and through that business, he loves to minister to people . Keri is the Principal at our local Elementary school and she is an amazing teacher!
Brian and Keri are Co-Leaders of YCC's KidMin. Brian also was the leader of the New Commandment Men's Ministry. And through that ministry helped several widows and handicapped people of our community.  
We love having Brian, Keri and their family serving with us here at YCC.

 Elder, John Schaffner

 John is married to Roberta and they have 3 grown children and a whole lot of grandchildren.
 John is a man of many talents. He is an auctioneer, has his own  Cowboy Chuckwagon business and also is a Cowboy poet. 
 Roberta works in a nursing home/assisted living facility.
 John & Roberta having been serving YCC for many years.
